New Books!

Announced on today's Publisher's Marketplace, a new sale to Houghton Mifflin Harcourt's Graphia line:

EMBERS in Russian

I’m thrilled to announce that Russian rights for EMBERS have sold.

Now, I’m daydreaming about what it would be like to see the book in Russian. It’s a lovely surprise, and I can’t wait to meet more international readers.

Flammenzorn - German Translation of EMBERS Coming in November!

I'm delighted to announce that the German translation of EMBERS will be available in November. Check out the fantastic cover! Nice artwork of the Detroit skyline in the back, and Anya is just lovely. The link to the book on Amazon.de is here.

I plugged FLAMMENZORN: ROMAN into the German-English translator - yes, my college German is that rusty. The translator tells me that it roughly translates to "Flame Wrath: A Novel." Pretty darn cool.

Sparky Tweets!

I gave Sparky his own Twitter account. Sigh. Once he heard that Allison Pang's Phineas had one, he was quite jealous and demanded his own.

Last I checked, he was crowing about how he was the original muse for Jethro Tull's "Salamander" song and inviting ladies to rub his speckled tummy.
